Danny Cockton is Vice President of Global Travel Services, Wood PLC as well as serving as a director of the UKs leading travel management trade association, The Institute of Travel Management (ITM). A co-founder of the Business Travel People Awards, he previously held commercial roles at Amex GBT, Capita Travel and Events (now Clarity) and HRS.com.   

In his personal life Danny is a patient educator for Heart Failure charity, Pumping Marvellous after his diagnosis of the condition in 2023. He is married to Jane, a costumier (she made the Harry Potter costumes!) and has three children, a dog called Basil is a fan of local cricket and in the winter can often be found on the terraces at Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
